Setup for Nothing

In 2017 in the middle of the centrally located Sophie-Scholl-Platz in Ulm a 5 m² tall scaffold was set up by a construction company. The scaffold was put in place without any announcement or explanation and taken down after four weeks. In the end nothing remained in this spot.

According to the title “Setup for Nothing”, the set-up of the scaffold was for nothing – no sculpture in public space was erected, nothing was done – it was a set-up for nothing. Nothing is now installed for ever in the middle of the Sophie-Scholl-Platz.

In 2019 "Setup for Nothing" was presented at the 24th Gabrovo Biennial, Bulgaria.
